My wife and I had heard about cake but only got round to trying it out on Thursday 10th May. We were very impressed with all aspects of the cafe. The friendliness of the staff, high quality of food and good prices make this yet another of our “go to places” when we’re looking for a bite to eat on the high street. Highly recommended and a nice place to meet friendly faces old and new.

 Baguette Express, North Berwick
Fresh fillings, pleasant staff, reasonable prices and a quick turnaround make this one of our favorite places on the high street. My son and I tried baguette express for the first time when my pockets were almost empty. Despite this, we managed to come away with a delicious baguette with four fillings (two each side for us to share!) and a tasty treat for afters. Fresh, tasty and amazing value. The centre has been in business for approx. 17 years. We have also been involved in Corporate Hospitality for approx. 22 years working in Scotland and England in some of the most prestige settings.

Support your local store. Marita and Gary stock a great selection of fresh bakery produce, snacks and newspapers / magazines. The location also serves as the village post office (until 1pm).
If you used Fidra Stores during the latest winter weather please remember how useful it is to have a local store. The local store needs our support all year round - not just when we can’t get to Tesco’s or Asdas!
